Halifax Getaway Several years ago, Rachel and I started a tradition of spending a few nights in Halifax each summer. We love the city and always enjoy coming back to eat at our favorite restaurants, run along the waterfront, and hike through Point Pleasant Park. Hennigars Farm Market We stopped by Hennigars for ice cream and a walk with the kids. Father’s Day Lobster Boil We normally have at least one family lobster dinner while we’re home. Historically, this has been at Hall’s Harbour. However, this year we decided we should cook them ourselves. We outfitted the Wolfville property with a proper lobster boil kit and found some beautiful lobsters in Harbourville for $11/lb CDN ($7.75 USD) :) Lots of fun was had, and a new tradition was born.
