Overview

The Red-eyed Vireo (Vireo olivaceus) is a small migratory songbird known for its olive-green back, white underparts, bold white eyebrow stripe, and striking red eyes in adults. Often heard before they’re seen, they spend much of their time high in the forest canopy, where they constantly forage for insects and berries during the breeding season.
